incroyable mais tristement vrai: dévasté par l'impression que w bush sera réélu, cette vieille canaille de kilgore trout s'est suicidé au draino vendredi soir dernier. cet écrivain raté était à la fois un personnage de l'écrivain américain kurt vonnegut et, sous la plume de plusieurs, un véritable auteur. vonnegut a discuté avec son avatar peu de temps avant son départ, cet entretient est publié sur le site in these times sous le titre requiem for a dreamer: "the overwhelming popularity of president bush, in spite of everything, finally shows us what the american people, whom we have so sentimentalized for so long, a la norman rockwell, really are, thanks to tv and purposely lousy public schools: ignorant. count on it!"
